All Summer long we worked outside, no matter the weather. We had hot hot days, rainy days, windy days and everything in between. And Finnegan was there helping every step of the way. He loves working with his hands and his mind. Every where we turned, we would find a little corner of the yard he had decorated or organized in his own little Finnie way. He collected interesting rocks, insects, flowers, and sticks and he begged me to let him keep them in the house. I found the paper pack of empty carrots seeds laying in the dirt and around the corner, him covered in soil, proud as ever that he planted carrots on his own. I had other plans for the seeds but, his plan worked just fine because we have a garden full of carrots to show for his work. He made his own “Bee Hotel” and hung it on a stick by the wild flowers then insisted I explain to him “how bees make bee sauce”. He is so much me, it is ridiculous. My boy <3<\/a><\/p>\n
